book describes and discusses the examination and imaging of the shoulder
joint, and focuses specifically on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment
and rehabilitation of injuries due to sport, exercise, recreational
activity, or trauma. |
| PURPOSE |
| The
aim of this book is to provide those who evaluate and treat conditions
of the shoulder, including instability, labral tears, rotator cuff
tendinopathy, biceps tendon disorders, acromioclavicular joint problems,
fractures, and arthritis, with the most up-to-date information. In
particularly, as the title describes, examination of the shoulder
is thoroughly reviewed. Additionally, there is a chapter on imaging
of the shoulder joint from the simple x-ray to the more complex imaging
techniques. |
